The iRig BlueBoard app for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch works in conjunction with IK's new iRig BlueBoard, the first wireless MIDI pedalboard designed for iOS and Mac. It enables users to control the setup and configuration of the iRig BlueBoard hardware unit.
The iRig BlueBoard pedalboard features four backlit footswitches that facilitate bank and preset changes, as well as parameter control in any Core MIDI-compatible app (such as AmpliTube or SampleTank) from distances of up to 10 meters. Additionally, it offers two expression pedal inputs for connecting pedals (not included) to manage continuously variable parameters like wah and volume.
The app facilitates communication between the iRig BlueBoard controller and any Core MIDI apps on the user's iOS device. It allows users to configure the hardware unit and set up its 32 banks of settings for the four footswitches. Users can define MIDI parameters to control, switch between Program Change and Control Change modes, specify the MIDI channel for transmission, rename banks, browse patches in Core MIDI apps, and more.
